Critiquing a fashion story

Missguided has its own blog called: Babezine. Recently, they posted a story on the creation of their campaign Babe With Sign. The campaign is focused around the celebration of female empowerment and is linked to International Women’s day. Their article summarises the reason behind the campaign and generating awareness.

In terms of multimedia content, the post contains some variation, including five photographs of influencers stood in busy areas of London holding empowering messages. These images are presented one after another in a list structure and have hyperlinked Instagram name corresponding with the image. The article also includes a video voicing the opinions of a range of women onfeminism in today’s society.

However, this can be improved by making the images more interactive for the audience by compiling them into a slideshow, saving the audience from scrolling for the images and hyperlinking the hash tag to increase traffic from the blog post to their social media.
